I moved here 8 years ago as I fell in love with the location. It's so peaceful here and Glover's Wood is superb as being part of Woodland Trust, there's approximately 63 acres of woodland which is just great for walking, running and cycling. There is a huge equestrian interest in Newdigate too. Despite being really rural, the transport links are superb with great motorway links to M23 and M25 from here. Dorking, Reigate, Horsham and Crawley are all accessible easily and it's so effortless to get to Gatwick for holidays and work. Hookwood Tesco is just a ten minute drive from here so never too far for a grocery shop! Since living here I have completely transformed the place with virtually everything having been done to a high standard.
