When we moved into our home in 1979, we were a family of 4 and we needed the accommodation. The kitchen diner was a big appeal and it has really been the hub of the house, particularly when the girls were at home. We spend a lot of time out in the garden and it is a labour of love for us. We have completely transformed it over the years and given the garden wraps round to the side of the property, we have a good amount of space to play with.

Our daughters went to Oak Tree school which is now called Ashford Oaks and we often walked into town or to the station when we've had a day trip to London. Victoria Park is only about 10 minutes walk away. There is a good choice of shops nearby, takeaways and a post office.
