Full Details for 3 Bedroom End of Terrace for sale in Dorking, RH4 :
If location is top of your list then you won't be disappointed when you view this cottage. Once you get inside you'll realise it's not just the location that will 'wow' you. The lounge is ideal to put your feet up in front of the television and large enough for a couple of sofas with an original sash window and an eco fuel fire - you get the flame and warmth from a real fire but without the mess! The dining area has been opened up to the kitchen area so it's the perfect space for entertaining and the kitchen is modern and sleek with plenty of storage in the pull-out larder. The utility area houses the boiler and has space for the washing machine and fridge/freezer so they don't take up valuable space in the kitchen. The bathroom is downstairs which means that the bedrooms upstairs are all doubles giving you plenty of space for a growing family or overnight guests. When you get home in the evening and want to catch the last of the sun, sit on the bench at the front of the house, enjoy a glass of wine, catch up with the neighbours and watch the children playing out in the street. The rear garden has room for your table and chairs and a barbecue so perfect if you like to dine al-fresco. You can glimpse the Cotmandene which is just a short walk away and if you have young children the hidden sandpit in the decking is sure to delight. No need to take the car out as most of Dorking's amenities are within walking distance but if you do then there is no problem when you return home as you have two parking spaces all of your own.
We bought this house 13 years ago as we could see the potential it had on offer to be an ideal family home. The location was also a big plus being just a short walk to the High Street, Dorking station and the Ashcombe and St Paul's schools. We've done quite a bit of work over the last 10 years - a new bathroom, a new combi-boiler around 3-4 years ago, two years ago we took out the chimney breast in the dining area, opened it up to the kitchen, had a new kitchen fitted and solid oak flooring in the dining area and kitchen. It's been a great place to bring up the children, we have great neighbours and there is a real sense of community here and we've held some wonderful street parties.
