There is a local shop along the road and a really nice pub which looks out over the boats that harbour in the canal basin which leads onto the promenade h offering wonderful riverside walks. There is also a park close by where the children can kick a ball and let of some steam.The town and station are also within walking distance, ideal if you fancy a few drinks or if you want to go shopping and is perfect for commuters as there is now a fast service into London St Pancras.
