Full Details for 3 Bedroom End of Terrace for sale in Faversham, ME13 :
Create your dream home in an idyllic village location, with truly breathtaking views over Oare Creek. Whilst the house itself could be updated in places what you are really buying here is a complete change in lifestyle. Perhaps this is the ideal choice as you approach retirement or are looking for a second home? This would make a special weekend retreat for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts. The home has a real charm about it and further improvements could no doubt make use of the real ‘wow factor’ – the views, of course. You will enjoy a cosy evening in the sitting room or a gathering with friends in the kitchen/diner. Whether you are looking from the interesting tiered garden or from the picture frame window in the main bedroom it is hard to take your eyes away from the boats resting in the Creek. You can see for miles into a never ending skyline to the horizon beyond.A few minutes’ walk from your door will take you towards Harty Ferry to Oare Marshes. This spot is of international importance for migratory, overwintering and breeding wetland birds. The reserve consists of a grazing marsh (one of only a few left in Kent) with freshwater dykes, open water scrapes, reed bed, salt marsh and a seawall. An even shorter stroll in the opposite direction is all it takes to warm yourself up again in the ever popular Three Mariners, a cosy pub with log fires and creek views, focused on local seafood.
I have lived in this house for over 50 years and it is just full of happy memories for my family and myself. The time has come now for me to down size and get a little closer into the town. Having said that, I have loved living in this beautiful village with the thriving community. The village hall and the church, as well as the pubs, all contribute to a unique neighbourly atmosphere. There is of course the bus service into Faversham and this house has its own car parking space which is great for our family. The garden here has always been a favourite spot of mine and it is a perfect place to sit and enjoy the Creek.
