Full Details for 3 Bedroom Detached for sale in Gillingham, ME7 :
Have you always dreamt of living in a detached house but thought that your limited budget would never allow that dream to become a reality? Well think again as this could be the one! Tucked away like an oasis in the dessert, this detached cottage offers so much. From the front you get no real sense of what lies beyond the quaint facade. Once inside you will discover far more space than you could imagine with separate lounge and dining room and 3 separate bedrooms. The layout also offers a great deal of versatility and options as the upstairs bedroom could potentially be split into two, or you could have an upstairs bathroom or en-suite, subject to the usual planning consents. If you have green fingers you will love the good sized gardens, both to the front and side, providing plenty of space for vegetable plots or just a great place for the kids to play or for those summer barbecues. Location is also very convenient as it is only a stones throw from the High Street, so all the amenities are on your doorstep, including the Main Line Station, making it ideal for the commuter. This is definitely a house that must be viewed inside to be fully appreciated.
When I first viewed the house 9 years ago I fell in love with it as it was so different from the standard Victorian terraced houses that I had viewed. It offered so much more space with good room sizes and high ceilings, but the real attraction for me was the gardens. It wasn't in the best condition but I could see the potential and knew that I could make it into a lovely home. Over the years I have decorated, replaced the bathroom, re-vamped the kitchen and it has proved a great place to live. It is now time for me to move on and for someone else to enjoy living here as much as I have.
