Full Details for 3 Bedroom Detached for sale in Whitstable, CT5 :
As you park the car in front of this cottage you cannot help but be impressed with the pretty facade. Step inside and that 'Wow' factor continues throughout the entire home. As winter is beckoning you will no doubt spend time in front of the log burner watching the flames dance as you curl up on the settee.Drag yourself away from the comfort of your lounge and create a culinary treat in the 'all singing, all dancing' kitchen. Entertain in style with a dinner party where your guests can sit around the table in the separate dining room enjoying the views over the garden (and of course the company). The driveway offers oddles of parking space for both yourselves and visitors with enough space left to park a boat of perhaps a camper van. Talking of visitors, should you chose to invite them to stay overnight, you can be in that enviable position where you can still retain your own sense of privacy. The current owners have converted part of the garage into a 2nd kitchen and shower room. Take a climb up a flight of stairs (no building regulations in place, but still a great area) and there is a fabulous 1st floor room where they can comfortably spend the night.
Having spent many years living in Chestfield we could not imagine living in any other area. So when this cottage came on the market we were over the moon. Although we realised that there was a lot of work to take on we fell in love with the charm and character of it.As the children got older they wanted their own sense of independence so the separate kitchen and shower room offered them a feeling of living in their own home (without the bills). Although we have not got building regulations for the first floor over the garage as the ceiling height is a little low in parts, my son (who is quiet tall) still utilises it as his bedroom.
