The city also has a theatre, cinemas, restaurants and a wide range of health and leisure facilities.

There is ample parking on the paved driveway that leads to the front of the house. To the side is a small area of lawn and a low-growing acer beside a pond which is edged with stones and pebbles.

The patio is sheltered by a low stone wall, mature beech hedging and mature shrubs which almost hide a second pond. To the other side of the house, by the wooden shed, is a south-facing circular patio set in a gravelled area, softened by a few mature shrubs.

In addition to these areas of low-maintenance yet pretty private gardens, there is a large area of communal lawn just across the main driveway to Litley Court. Also within the grounds is a glorious, sunken garden offering benches to sit and read.
