This is a beautiful home with character and quality. The moment you arrive at the location, the home stands out with a presence and when you enter through the stunning oak front door, it doesn’t disappoint at all.
Blessed in a position that’s a few minutes away from Shanklin and just moments away from the Cliff Path and those stunning coastal walks, we recommend a viewing of the home to appreciate the superb location and what it offers.
The heart of many homes is the kitchen and this home has a superb design with the dining area alongside which flows naturally to the lounge area, plus with the bi-folding doors that open out onto the garden patio area.
Downstairs, working from home couldn’t be easier; there is a good sized office and it’s always beneficial to have a separate sitting room - all combined to make the downstairs living space flexible and well-proportioned.
The ‘wow-factor’ continues upstairs with a lovely balcony that leads out of two of the bedrooms making a great relaxing area overlooking the rear garden and sea glimpses beyond as well a favourite for a morning coffee of evening glass of wine.
What the Owner says:
We wake in the morning to peace and quiet, only interrupted by the singing of the birds, which makes us feel so fortunate to live in such a beautiful location, just seconds away from the Cliff Path with uninterrupted views of the English Channel and surrounding area. Our morning routine leads us from here for a gentle stroll along the cliff top with our family dog Bessie.
Weekends are all the more special with endless time to spare; running is my wife’s passion and she loves nothing more than running along the beach or Cliff Path, followed by morning coffee and a good book relaxing on the balcony over looking our lovely garden.
We all agree that we never thought we’d leave this wonderful place but our daughters growing passion for horses for the past 9 years has finally given way to us finding another home where her love can be further nurtured.
Prior to purchasing our home, I had walked past and admired it even in its then poor condition and had even gone to the lengths of posting a note through the door asking if the owners ever decided to sell to please contact me.
The property did after many years come up for sale and I knew that this could be a very special place. We were successful in purchasing and thus began the process of restoring and upgrading, to create the much loved home it is today.
