This property has been our home for the last twelve and a half years now which we have taken great pride in and it has been a true labour of love when renovating and are truly happy with the results. This gives us reassurance that the new owners will be happy with too, not just with the home but the village life it brings also as we are located just a short distance from Newport town but are far enough to have the real feel of country living!
As a family we have spent many tranquil weekends walking the bridleways and greenways through to Gatcombe and beyond as we are lucky enough to be surrounded by beautiful countryside.
As the seasons change, the views from our windows do too! We have the lambing in the Spring time which our Grandchildren love to wake up to. Then there are the changing scenes of Chillerton Down which is very popular for hand gliding and paragliding - enjoyable to watch from the comfort of our home.
All of these things have made our time living here most enjoyable but most of all the Village community has been fantastic! Super neighbours, including the local gardener David, who maintains many gardens throughout the village, making our whole experience of living in the village a very happy one! There is also a Saturday market & cafe in the village hall selling local produce including homemade cakes!
Due to personal circumstances, we feel the need to move nearer other family members on the Island, very happy memories of our life in Chillerton Village!
