This property is an extremely attractive detached home set within very generous private gardens, which offers an element of wonderful seclusion from the world outside. The home has been extended and improved over the years by the current owners to provide all the needs of the modern family, without detracting from the attractive look and feel of the home itself.
One of the wonderful improvements is the sun lounge extension that leads on so naturally from the lounge, and from there, flows into the dining area. The sun lounge extension itself offers so much more than space to enjoy in the summertime; it works brilliantly as an additional reception room and forms a real centre piece to this charming home.
Even though the home proposes three bedrooms currently, with a few alterations, subject to the relevant approvals, the dining area or possibly another space within the home could create a fourth bedroom if need-be. This will not leave you short by any means when it comes to reception room space.
All of this and more is topped off with the wonderful grounds in which it sits, with a beautifully screened extensive lawned front garden as well as a brilliant summerhouse nestling in one corner. The side garden links excellently to the sun lounge extension, furthermore, you have the hard landscaped and secure rear garden. Additional to all this, you have the very extensive driveway that could accommodate a legion of cars and leads onto the garage.
Beyond this, you also have the trappings of the location which offers excellent provision to the highly renowned junior and local high schools, local parks as well as a none-to-distant walk to the town itself and transport links to the capital town of Newport and the high speed links to Southampton and beyond.
What the Owner says:
This property has been our happy home for the past fifteen years. It’s a charming, spacious family home full of character and detail. The large front garden, in particular, has that feel of seclusion and privacy, together with being situated in a convenient location.
We think the present position is ideal as it’s situated close to both Newport and Cowes with all their amenities, but far enough away to give a country feeling, as well as being able to be part of the local community.
We will be sorry to leave, but will take many good memories with us.
