Full Details for 3 Bedroom Detached for sale in Loughton, IG10 :
Another property under offer through Sale By Tender… Selling your house by informal tender = top price and no commission fees.
This distinctive and beautifully presented residence provides an opportunity for the discerning buyers to acquire a home that has been restored for modern day living, yet still embraces traditional features. The owners tell us that the outside areas are equally as pleasing as the inside, during the summer months they like to come home after a busy working day and relax on the balcony with a glass of wine. The private courtyard area is the ideal spot to eat al-fresco, whilst the meandering pathway leads down to a garden area enjoying a good degree of privacy and with a decking area to sit and relax on, or entertain friends and family for barbecues. This desirable conservation area provides the best of both worlds, the sense of living within a village with a peaceful atmosphere, whilst the hustle and bustle of Loughton High Road is only 0.3 miles away and the tube station, making central London very accessible is 0.9 miles from the home.
When we were first looking to move to the area some five years ago we were most taken with the York Hill part of Loughton, being close enough to walk to the shops, cafes and underground station, whilst having Epping Forest virtually on our doorstep was everything we wanted. The convenience combined with the lovely tranquil setting and some great views made us fall in love with what was to become our home before it came to the market. There is even a great pub just up the road (127 yards), we often used to stroll up the road to the Gardeners Arms for a meal, we now have two young children so this is more of a rarity. Our favourite space within the home is the kitchen diner. It’s an area where family and friends can come together for cooking, eating or a chat around the table, we tend to spend most of our time in the kitchen. The sitting room is a place to retire to and relax with arched french doors to the balcony.Since we moved in we have renovated extensively, a lot of it is unseen, such as bringing the heating, wiring and plumbing up to modern standards. In addition we have relandscaped the front and rear gardens, created an off street parking area and several other aesthetic improvements, all of which have given us a wonderful home that we will be genuinely sorry to leave.
