Location The historic harbour town of Fowey has long been considered as one of Cornwall's most picturesque and charming settlements. . The novelist Daphne Du Maurier came to Fowey in her early twenties and immediately fell in love with the town, living for many years at Bodinnick where her parents bought a house in 1926.
