Full Details for 3 Bedroom Bungalow for sale in Banstead, SM7 :
When the current owners bought this property 25 years ago they were moving to escape the hustle and bustle of London and find a more semi-rural area that was still convenient for commuting.Originally a four bedroom chalet bungalow when they bought it, the owners knew they could re-configure the accommodation to suit their needs better. They have combined the original reception with one of the ground floor bedrooms to make the major feature of the home - a large lounge area/dining area that’s both cosy as well as being bright and airy with high ceilings, beautiful moulded cornicing and further tasteful plaster mouldings. On the point of general maintenance, since 2008 the owners have replaced the whole of the roof tiles and all the soffits and guttering, upgraded both the bath and shower rooms and kitchen. They have fitted a new boiler in 2013 as well as overhauling the central heating system and replacing the consumer fuse unit.In addition to this, the roof was replaced in 2014 along with the garage roof and new carpets fitted to the downstairs reception area. All in all, this is a perfect property to live in over the coming years with little to worry about.
Banstead was an area we had always wanted to live in. We loved the look of the property. Although it was in its original condition, we could see it had potential, both inside and outside we knew we could increase the amount of off road parking. We often have our large family gatherings, which is never a problem as we can park eight cars on the extended driveway without a problem. We love the convenience of the location. We can walk to restaurants at Nork and the Driftbridge or catch a bus up the road into Epsom and Banstead. We used to commute up the A217 and its fantastic having the M25 only a few minutes away.
