Full Details for 2 Bedroom Terraced for sale in Canterbury, CT3 :
As soon as you walk up to this delightful cottage, you will be struck by its pretty appearance. As you open the front door and walk into the lounge you are immediately met by the attractive wood burning stove. It’s not hard to imagine how stunning and cosy this must be when the winter wind is blowing outside. This house is simply bursting with character and it doesn’t stop in the lounge! The kitchen/diner is an equally characterful room where you will really enjoy chatting about the day over some dinner or a glass of wine. It has nice features such as a butler sink and it overlooks the stunning rear garden. The garden is definitely a cottage garden which is stocked with lots of lovely flowers and shrubs. Imagine sitting out there in the sun in the warmer weather. There is also a side entrance to reach the rear garden.Ash is a pretty village with a lovely historic church and village centre. Being approx. 9.5 miles from the City of Canterbury, Ash offers buyers very good value for money in a lovely location. Sandwich is approx. 2.9 miles away, so you can have all the benefits of living in a village here, yet still close to town. This home is being offered for sale with VACANT POSSESSION and is ready to move into now.
We had always really loved period homes with lots of character and this was one of the main things that attracted us to this house. We love the history, the old features and the lovely feel of being in old buildings. This house was built we believe in the 1750’s and has had lots of uses over the years. The other deciding factor in buying this home was the brilliant location in Ash. Ash is a really well served village and this was very important to us as my wife didn’t drive. There are shops, pubs, a good bus route and lots of other things in walking distance here, so you don’t need to go into Canterbury or Sandwich if you don’t need to. The location here is very tranquil and peaceful with lovely neighbours. I would highly recommend it to another buyer.
