King and Chasemore are delighted to offer you this fantastic opportunity to purchase this stunning, very unique DOUBLE fronted mews house situated in the very sought after Marine Terrace Mews.
This beautiful house consists of two very good size double bedrooms, entrance hall, occupying the entire ground floor is a very contemporary kitchen/ diner. First floor has a 16ft x 15ft SOUTH facing living room with sliding doors onto your second double bedroom with en - suite shower room. The master suite occupies the entire top floor measuring 26ft x 16ft offering plenty of natural light with three south facing windows, also large en suite bathroom with separate walk-in double shower cubicle. The entire house is wired for sound, with discreet ceiling speakers in each room (including the garage). There is an entry phone system, allowing the ease of entrance for your guests, even if you are on the second floor!
Marine Terrace Mews stands out from any other Mews house in the whole of Brighton and Hove as it's proportions are much large than usual, naturally lighter and of course in a very sought after secluded location, within walking distance of Brighton's famous seafront and Kemp Town village's coffee shops and restaurants. In the last two years, the Mews has been fully cobbled and has a real Dickensian appeal. In the last 12 months, one of the houses has converted their roof to a full roof terrace, as has another, directly behind the Mews, on Bristol Road. The roof on this property measures 5m x 8m and subject to Planning Permission offers a fantastic opportunity to create that outside space.
This property is being sold with an integral garage big enough for a large sports car and two parking spaces.
The house is decorated to a very high standard throughout including new double glazing throughout and it has recently been fully rendered, front and back. This is a perfect example of how period mews property should meet contemporary living.
What the owners say:
\"We have absolutely loved living in this house. With a 30 second walk to either the beach or all of Kemptown's wonderful bars, restaurants and amenities, it has just been fabulous. To walk into town takes a maximum of 15 minutes, or take one of the very regular buses on Bristol Road or the Seafront. Most go to the Station, so for commuters (of which I am one), it's just easy. The Mews is a community of its own and we all look out for each other - whether it is summer BBQs or Christmas dinners, it has been an unexpected and lovely addition to Kemptown life. The garage was always a must, but the addition of two parking spaces in the heart of a city where parking is a problem and very expensive has been absolutely amazing, for us AND our guests. (We get very popular in the summer months!). We came down from London for that 'home on the beach' experience... We certainly have enjoyed it! Leaving will be difficult, but I have no doubt that the next owners will utterly love everything about this house, whether it is to live here or to utilise as a second home: the location, the parking, the neighbours, the Mews, Kemptown, etc. We've loved every minute.\"
Viewing at our open day is highly recommended.
