We searched for a long time to find our first house and we really wanted to be in this area of Folkestone. We were delighted to have found this house and were excited about doing it up to our taste and making our first home together. We really wanted this side of Folkestone as we really enjoy walking along the beach and being able to pop down the harbour for a drink or buy fresh fish on a Sunday. My husband is a fisherman so being just a short walk to the harbour is a real bonus for us. The neighbours are lovely, many of them have been here for many years and there is a real sense of community spirit. Hopefully we won't be moving too far away as I think the neighbours and area are very special and we can honestly say we have loved living here.
