NYMET TRACEY
 is a small picturesque hamlet about a mile south from the larger village of Bow.  There is an ancient church and a scattering a period properties.  The area is surrounded by some of mid Devon’s loveliest countryside. 

BOW is a parish and village on the River Yeo approximately 8 miles from Crediton, on the road to Okehampton.  A unique feature of the village is the very high raised pavement running down one side of the main street.  There is an inn, an excellent primary school, village hall and Co-op mini supermarket.

DIRECTIONS From Crediton take the A377 Barnstaple Road to Copplestone (about 4 miles).  From Copplestone fork left onto the A3072 Okehampton Road for about 3 miles to the village of Bow. When in the centre of the village turn left at Bow Village Cross as signed to Spreyton, and follow this road past the primary school and out of the village for about 250 yards whereupon turn left as signed Nymet Tracey.  Follow this road going through the hamlet of Nymet Tracey going past the church, and continue along the lane for about 0.4 mile and 2 Walson Cottages will be seen on the left.  There is a parking layby directly opposite the property.
