History
The land that the maisonette resides on was owned by the Horner-Boyd Estates and were purchased and named by Harvey and Co., a major steel company based on the riverside. The sale completed in September 1935 and during the course of 1936 they built 72 quality homes for their own employees to live in with their families. Following company restructuring, the homes were acquired by Greenwich Borough Council who remain freeholders although many of the properties are now privately owned. Today, residents continue to enjoy living in well-built homes and it is a desirable spot so very close to transport links and shops.
