Walking in through the front door, the first thing you see are the original tiles paving the way to the staircase. There is a shower room ready for those days when half the sand off the beach seems to have come back with you!
The kitchen – although modern – is still in keeping with the property; beautifully planned out so cooking will no longer be a chore! The main bedroom looks out over Colwell Common, a pretty village scene that has changed very little over the years and there is a room next door that could be a study, nursery or even – dare I say it ladies – a dressing room!
On the top floor, the second bedroom is tucked away with its own private en-suite bathroom. With it's fantastic location so close to the beach at Colwell Bay and its own parking space, this apartment has so much to offer, be it for a couple, a small family or even as a holiday home. Who is going to grab it first?

It has always been a dream of mine to own a place on the Isle of Wight and I can clearly remember driving along Colwell Road, enjoying the great location and looking for a "for sale" board. When I saw this beautiful period building, I knew without even going in that I would love it. The rest, as they say, is history!
Over the time I have owned it, I have put in the heating and hot water system, rewired throughout and with the double glazing in place, the new owner will find this a warm and inviting place. I enjoyed planning the kitchen and bathrooms and, although I have made the decision to sell, I hope the new owners see the charm and history that this house has and enjoy it as much as I have.
