Full Details for 2 Bedroom Flat for sale in Reigate, RH2 :
From the first moment you set eyes on this impressive building, with its typical Victorian facade, you will want to view this property internally.Outside there are well-tended communal grounds which can be used by the owner as well as an allocated parking space and two visitor parking spaces.Stepping through the front door of the apartment you will be pleasantly surprised by what is on offer, there is a blend of Victorian splendour married together with modern fittings and tasteful decoration. Each of the rooms are bright, light and airy. The lounge has a large sash window with views over the front garden. There is a good size double bedroom as well as a second bedroom, currently being used as a dining room; immediately adjacent is the kitchen with excellent fittings and built-in appliances. The apartment would be ideal for a multitude of buyers, whether you are a professional couple, down-sizer, single person to have a lodger or as an investment, as these properties will produce a good rent and healthy yield. The property also benefits from being share of freehold. The position is great as it is virtually equidistant between Reigate and Redhill town centres, both with mainline train stations (Redhill 28 minutes to Victoria) and major employers as well as cafes, bars, restaurants and High Street shops. Priory Park is close by, plus Wray Common with many scenic walks. A short car journey away is the M25 and Gatwick Airport.
With its tall ceilings and non-conventional layout, we fell in love with the space of the flat and that it feels much bigger than it really is. With lots of storage and a communal cellar for storing bikes, our love of the flat and the practicality and comfort has made us stay here longer than we initially imagined. There is easy access to walks, runs or cycles in parks, the North Downs and open countryside means you really have the best of all worlds.
The flat has been great for entertaining - it has a large lounge and the second bedroom functions really well as a dining room. Refitting the flat was fun - we were able to add little touches like floor level lighting and underfloor heating. It was especially fun when we realised there was space for a wine fridge!
