What the owners say:
With a second child on the way, we decided to move closer to family in the Midlands. Still settling in, but what we miss most are our neighbours - we still come back and visit our friends on Byne Road. We also loved the light in our flat. In the morning the breakfast room and garden is bathed in sun and in the afternoon and evening the light streams through the living room shutters. We are lucky to have a full width garden (a rarity on the street) and as a family, with our neighbours present, we sat out in the garden, catching up on life. We got on so well with our neighbours, we lowered the fences! Though the Midlands are great, there are lots we still miss about Sydenham - the Sydenham Arts Festival, Sydenham Woods, Mayow Park and cafe, the pop up restaurant at the Calabash, the perks of being within walking distance of Crystal Palace and Forest Hill (especially the Horniman) and the short train ride to the South Bank and Greenwich.
