Full Details for 2 Bedroom End of Terrace for sale in Dorking, RH4 :
If the Olympics inspired the nation to get fit and improve their health then a village such as Westcott is perfect for walkers and cyclists alike. Being approximately 2 miles from Dorking town centre facilities for all your shopping needs are catered for and if you work in the City every day, you have the choice of three train stations. If you have been searching for that perfect first home then this beautiful cottage could be right up your street. As you step inside, instantly feel how inviting this home is and begin imagining getting home from work and cosying up in front of the television with your feet up. When it's time for a bite to eat the kitchen is the perfect place for the chef to get out the recipe books and rustle up something special. With room for a bistro table and chairs there is space for you to catch up with friends with a glass of wine at the table as you cook. The separate utility is a real bonus as it means the kitchen can be used solely for cooking in and in the warmer months it is a great space for drying clothes. If you fancy a well earned soak the elegant bathroom offers the ideal environment for that relaxing bit of 'you' time, but if a wake up shower is more your thing, don't worry as the impressive jets will do the trick! Both bedrooms have wonderful feature fireplaces and are both large enough to take a double bed. Outside, the pretty rear garden is just the place to soak up the sunshine and admire the views with the welcome addition of a summer house and bike shed.
I moved here over a decade ago from London and for me it was all about the location. Westcott is such a lovely village with a fantastic community and I immediately felt at home here .I also fell in love with the beautiful views and countryside that surrounds it. It is so nice to head out on a walk on my day off and explore the green open spaces but it is equally so conveniently placed for the local shop and bakers as well as the local pub.
Having animals it was really important that the area was safe for them and the no-through road made this house ideal. Since living here I have re-decorated and replaced the boiler and also built the summer house in the garden. It's now time for me to head closer into London again but I will miss living here.
