We have lived here for 14 years and can remember the very first time we saw this house. We had seen properties on the surrounding roads, but they just didn't have the amount of space we wanted.
Then we got a call from an estate agent who said they were just about to take one onto the market and asked whether we would like to have a look.
The rest is history, we offered on it straight away, there was so much space and it was so quiet and private. Since being here we have tried to constantly stay on top of the property, so hopefully the new owners won't have too much to do.
Now our family are in a different part of the country so it is time for us to move on, but hope that someone else can enjoy retirement here as much as we have.
