Full Details for 2 Bedroom Bungalow for sale in Folkestone, CT18 :
As soon as you drive down this quiet lane and set eyes on this unique property it is evident that this house has been built with a lot of care and passion. Every detail planned and thought through by the owner, every brick has been laid with love and as such compliments its rural surroundings beautifully. Built in 1981 it was cutting edge design and technology by a local company 'Country Craft Homes' who specialised in 'timber frame house kits', every inch of this property has been cleverly designed to create this idyllic home. This labour of love is surprisingly spacious with a good size hallway and a large lounge/diner with more than enough room for a dining table it allows the whole family to gather together in one room and catch up on recent events. The kitchen is of equally generous size, why not utilise the space for a breakfast table providing a quick and convenient place for a morning slice of toast. Or take your breakfast through to the conservatory and admire your beautiful mature gardens, watch the birds dance around and start your day the right way. After breakfast you could pop out for a leisurely stroll, walk along the iconic cliff tops and enjoy the view of the glistening sea below you. This bungalow really does offer superb accommodation and in a semi-rural tucked away location, a simply perfect property.

My father enjoyed every minute of building his own home, he carefully considered every part of it and made it a real one off design by adding the en-suite cloakroom to the second bedroom and making other unique changes to the design which I believe have all added to this great layout.
The neighbours are wonderful, everyone keeps an eye out for each other which is lovely but without being too involved which is also important. The lady up the lane would stop off with her horses and give a quick wave on her way to the local school which my father liked. It's so peaceful and quiet up here but with lots to do right around the corner, there is a local farmers market and lots of clubs and activities to get involved with too.
