The neighbours are wonderful and have become friends over recent years and we will miss them. The Close is always quiet yet it is only a short walk to bus routes into Canterbury or Faversham if you need some shopping.

After doing quite a lot of work in our garden, we thoroughly enjoy it. The sunset over the orchards beyond on a summer evening is a real delight.

The village halls of either Boughton or Dunkirk are a great way of socialising with the neighbours as are any of the nearby pubs within walking distance. It is really very sad to consider leaving here but another chapter for us gives new owners the chance to experience this lovely village.
