The appeal at the time was that it was small, and easy to maintain, hence, cheap to run. The added bonus was its close proximity to the beach, and if required, the bus stop too.

In the thirty nine years that we have lived here, we have undertaken adding a side and rear extension, so from the front, passers by would not necessarily be aware of the size of accommodation on offer.

The only reason for moving is family ties, otherwise we would happily stay.
