Full Details for 2 Bedroom Apartment for sale in Hove, BN3 :
Dating back to 1890 this 'Flemish Renaissance' apartment building was built way ahead of its time. Designed and styled by the prolific architecture firm, Clayton & Black, from the beginning these apartments were created for the elite and offered luxury living. To this day the common ways still retain their original charm and cage style lifts. This particular apartment is quite unique, in that it has its very own independent entrance, which entitles the owner to an annual rebate from the general maintenance costs as there are no common ways used.Offering an impressive 1000 square foot, this stylish home really stands out. For formal entertaining you have a large dining lounge, a more than substantial family sized dining kitchen, a luxury bathroom and two stunning double bedrooms, all full of character and being of double aspect from dawn to dusk light flows naturally throughout. The location - central Hove, an iconic address and building, and quite literally situated in the middle of all that's hip and happening in upmarket Hove. From French patisseries, coffee shops, fabulous restaurants and bars, one off boutique shops, they are all within walking distance. Not forgetting the famous Hove lawns, promenade and beach, again very close by and just two streets away. What more could you possibly need or want in your new home!
Being a commuter into London Monday to Friday, my weekends are quite precious, it was important to live somewhere where I could easily access the train station, and have a vibrant social scene nearby. Gwydyr Mansions offered me all of this and much, much more. The building is well looked after and to this day I still can't believe that I have been so lucky to live in such an iconic and stunning building. After 18 wonderful years in my lovely home I have decided to 'reluctantly' move on to pastures new, it will be a hard act to follow! I wish the new owners a long and happy life here and hope they enjoy living here as much as I have.
