I bought my flat about 14 years ago. It was in a really sorry state but I fell in love with it and knew I had to renovate it. I have renewed absolutely everything and have loved bringing out the flat's original features and charm. In the last 14 years I have both lived in it and easily rented it out. It's been a wonderful place to live. The train station is a seven minute walk away and the beach and City Centre are on the doorstep. The Seven Dials is a funky and cosmopolitan area which is just up the road. (The restaurants are fantastic.) Although my flat is extremely central, it's not a noisy or busy place to live. I love the sense of peace and tranquillity my flat now has, which I could tell was possible when I first viewed it all those years ago.
