To be honest it might be easier just jumping on the bus which stops outside and within about fifteen minutes you will find yourself in the centre of Brighton where you can while away the time in the boutiques and restaurants that make Brighton the vibrant city of the South. If you don't want to go too far the local shops are on your doorstep offering you everything you need. The famous Art Deco Lido is a few minutes’ walk through Saltdean Park and the beach with its rock pools are just around the corner.

We were looking for a weekend home close to Brighton and as soon as we saw it we knew this was the one for us. It was ideal as all we had to do was decorate it to our taste and we also put down some new carpets. We loved the fact that we were not too far from Brighton but also had the lovely feel we found in Saltdean. There is a good community spirit here and people look out for each other. With everything close by as well as a good school we knew we were onto a winner. We now find that we don't have the time to get away so much so we have decided to sell as we spend most of our time in London but have enjoyed everything our flat has to offer.
