Saxon Close is on the bus route so if you are looking to get out and about it will be very easy, the no 27 bus will run you into Brighton even stopping at Brighton Station if you want to go any further. There are also plenty of shops a short walk away so if you run out of those daily essentials it is a very handy location. There is even a few take-aways if you don't fancy cooking one evening.The Oval Park is close by, a fantastic place for the children to play; there are tennis courts, bowling green or just a great open space to run around to your heart’s content. The beach is also very close by which is a lovely place to get down on the rock pools or just for a leisurely stroll along the under cliff. Car drivers will love the fact that you will have your very own garage, imagine that, no more driving around looking for a parking space. Even if you don't have a car the garage will make a great place to store all your bits and bobs.
We have now lived here for nearly seventeen years and one of the things that we really liked when we first saw the property was the fact that we could draw back the curtains and watch the ever changing vista. The lounge is always a light place as the sun shines through for most of the day.
Over the years we have modernised the kitchen and installed a new bathroom, some new double glazing and central heating.
Saltdean itself is a very friendly area, it is quiet and peaceful and we have always felt very safe here. It has been great for the children as the school is only around the corner.
We now need to find somewhere bigger but we will be looking to stay in Saltdean.
