We started off coming to Margate for weekend visits and also spent holidays here as a child, and fell in love with the town. From here we can visit Ramsgate, Broadstairs, Deal, Herne Bay or even further by bus.
All we need can be found on Northdown Road which is only a short walk away. We can also walk along the seafront to Margate Town itself. One of our favourite places to go locally is the Bowls Club across the road where we go for Sunday lunch and an afternoon drink. We also visit the farmers market which takes place on a Sunday to get some fresh produce. Our family now wants us back in Swindon. So we will be sad to leave the home we love.
