If the drive to the village alone doesn’t whet your appetite for a countryside feel then nothing will. There were many reasons why this house appealed to the current owners it’s got the lot - parking, garage, work from home office and a substantial kitchen/breakfast room and separate dining room. The garden gives a true sense of peace and tranquillity with its seclusion. It really is a lovely spot to chill out in the warmer months and enjoy the sun. If you need more space, you will not be disappointed - with the garage convert the space (subject to planning) into a playroom, or an extra reception room and build a garage onto the other side of the property.Upstairs are four good sized bedrooms, two of them with the added benefit of having built in wardrobes. Bedroom one also has the potential and space for adding an en-suite.This home really does have to be seen to be believed, and if you're looking for substantial family home that you can move straight into without any fuss, then please do give us a call.
We have lived here for 24 years. When I first stepped into the property I knew this was the one for me. The location and village is what sold it to me. It has an excellent primary school and in the catchment area for Chailey School, and the village has a local shop and pub and there are activities in the village hall to suit all ages. There are plenty of country walks across the fields and nearby footpaths.
We are going to be sad to leave but the time has come where we are looking to get a smaller property in the nearby area.
