Having moved out of London we wanted somewhere that offered us a country lifestyle with a better way of living for our children. We were canvassing quite a wide area and stumbled across this home almost by chance, and the size of the rear garden blew us away. We have altered the kitchen layout and re-fitted it and decorated throughout. The old 'wash house' in the garden has become a great office/study space. There is lapsed planning permission for a two storey extension on the property and the garden hosts fruit and nut trees and a hidden well. Our favourite things about the house have been the sunsets in the west facing garden that light up the kitchen summer or winter, a roaring fire in the cosy lounge and pottering around the garden while the kids are playing.
