This village is also surrounded by scenic Island countryside for any keen walkers or cyclists. A good sized lounge provides plenty of space to sit down and relax whilst the addition of the bright, airy kitchen/diner gives you the room to show off your culinary skills and host your family and friends. There has been many hours spent in the rear garden creating a family friendly area that is ideal for barbeques and the perfect place for the children to run around and tire themselves out. It is just ten minutes in the car to either Newport of Shanklin, but the village lifestyle is literally just up the road with a great atmosphere and a wonderful charm.
OWNERS COMMENTS We are only the second owners of this property and over the 34 years since we moved in we have transformed this house into a home, adding many additional features to accommodate a growing family. We have hosted many a large gathering of family and friends; birthday and Christmas celebrations in the kitchen/diner and the cosy garden summer house when the weather has prevented us from eating out on the sunny patio. We love Godshill village which has not changed much over the years although now boasts several good eating places alongside the tourist attraction and village shop/post office. The school has always had a great reputation with close links to the village church. We will be sorry to move away from this friendly community and neighbours, but it is time for us to move on and allow someone else to enjoy this setting in one of the most picturesque villages of the Isle of Wight.
