Coming from previous older properties we loved the character the cottage had to offer, and the deceptive amount of space, yet leaving enough to do for us to put our own personal touch to the rooms. The garden needed a lot of work and that has been a great achievement, spending time with family and friends enjoying meals overlooking the pond and spotting the wildlife is something we will miss. All this and a train station at the end of the lane direct into London - brilliant!
