Full Details for 3 Bedroom End of Terrace for sale in Epsom, KT18 :
When buying a property we are always told how important it is to buy in the right location. This was paramount to the current owners too in 2009 when they were looking to start their family.Close proximity to good schooling, off road parking and a decent size garden were also of great importance to them.Although there are many properties of the same 1950s styling within the Epsom Downs and Nork areas, it is fair to say that only a tiny proportion of them have come to the market in 2015 compared to 2014 which has added to their desirability this year. They are well renowned for the generous size of the third bedrooms, the 'L' shaped spacious lounge/diner with a large feature bay window, the well proportioned non galleried style of kitchens and the good sized gardens. However, these properties are normally bought for their proximity to good schooling, their leafy, safe locations and the potential to convert the loft space or extend in years to come as the family grows (subject to planning permission). It was a combination of all these factors that convinced the current owners to purchase.Apart from being a safe area, it is very convenient. Asda is less than three quarters of a mile away on foot.
On our first viewing we liked the fact that house was not over looked by any neighbouring properties, and there was plenty off-road parking. Not all of these properties are so fortunate.Since moving in we have re-plastered all the walls and ceilings, re-carpeted and redecorated throughout, replaced the boiler and bathroom, created an open fire in the lounge and enclosed the rear garden with a fence.
It's very handy having Tattenham Corner so close by, it means we can dine out and leave the car at home. If we fancy a trip up to London we just jump on the train at Tattenham Corner just a few minutes’ walk away.
