I bought this house over a decade ago and for me it was all about the location. Being just 2 miles out of Dorking, Westcott is such an amazing village as it really gives you the best of both worlds. Countryside and the Surrey Hills on the doorstep yet within reach of three train stations for commuting into London. Perfect! I have also had the huge benefit of the fabulous bakery just round the corner from me although never good for my willpower! The local shop has also got me out of a pickle when I used to run out of milk! Over recent years I have rented the house out and it has always been both easy and pleasurable to do so.
