There is off road parking and gardens surrounding the bungalow which slope down into mature woodland with a stream running below in the valley, making a lovely feature.
Adjacent to the bungalow is a building plot with full planning permission to construct a highly individual contemporary house which will have spectacular views. The plot slopes to the south and extends to 0.63 acre. The land includes woodland and a stream.
The car sales yard by the entrance to the site has outline planning permission and is now being submitted for full planning permission for two 3 bed semi-detached houses which will be two storey from the road and three storey when viewed from the south. If this application is successful it will improve the approach to the plot.
At the road level, the proposed building will have a garage and a curved entrance hall with stairs leading to the rest of the house below. On the ground level the stairs lead to a study and cloakroom, the room then opens up into a large open plan living and dining room, separated only by a fireplace. Double doors access the large terrace from both rooms. From the dining room you walk through to a large kitchen which also has access onto the large roof terrace. The lower ground level has two ensuite bedrooms, a further bedroom and family bathroom. There is access to another outside terraced area and utility room beyond
Please note that VAT will not be charged on the sale of the land. We understand that mains electricity & water (both mains and foul) are available for connection close to the entrance of the building plot, please make your own enquiries concerning service connection to the statutory undertakers.
Planning permission was granted for this contemorary house by Teignbridge District Council (planning reference: 13/00124/FUL) on 28th March 2013. Construction has now commenced on site and therefore the planning consent has now been implemented. A planning pack is available on our website to download as a single PDF. We have included all essential documentation, which includes plans, elevations, topographical survey and the decision notice etc. The full planning permission can also be viewed on the Teignbridge District Council website planning portal under reference 13/00124/FUL and 13/00124/COND1.
This area of land of course does not have to be built on and could simply be used as further land with the bungalow.

It has a highly regarded public house, The Lamb Inn which is renowned for its excellent food and range of local ales, ciders and wines.
